Gold is such a treasure find,
It sparkles in the sun,
And reveals the riches given
To Man by the Heavenly Son,
But in a moment can it be
Lost from view to find,
Another truth is greater so,
For Man to then be blind
To outer glory ’till
Such a time can be,
When he values of himself
The chance to be so free,
And bind himself to Will of God,
And shine in work for thee,
And in his giving of such love,
To glow, of golden stature, be.
