Kept a captive in a cave
Of dark foreboding ill,
One becomes an animal,
And loses so God’s Will,
And hungry for a mate,
One wanders far and wide to be,
Matched, and whole as One,
At least externally.
The truth is that we are all trapped
By illusion in our mind,
Until we free the captive nature
We will not know or find,
The freedom of a loving stature,
Where one can be in peace,
The all one ever hopes for,
And greater, for the lease.
