Haiti
Pierced by arrow sharp and bright,
And gleaning of pure gold,
The flesh is warm and seething
Thus within, of wounds of old.
But scars will not appear upon
The One who stands alone,
The One who serves all living beings,
Who claims His rightful throne.
Difficult it is, this task,
As who would dare to sit,
When evidence is thin about,
And sticks and stones are lit
With fires mighty,
Ever sceptical, to last,
Who will side with righteousness
In faith, and supper, fast?
