So the sun is setting down,
At close of day to snooze,
And take a respite after toil,
To win a race, and lose
All sentiment of essence,
To be lost to those who reap,
The benefit of labours hard,
To take from life and keep
Themselves alive and vital,
To do their toil at whim,
To be as so they’ve asked before,
To play a game for Him,
And in the process of thus losing
Sense of role to play,
The greatest gift is then bestowed,
At the beginning of a new, sun day.
