Laos
Take a ring of petals,
And sling them round your neck,
Rest, be still, and take in,
The perfume, what the heck!
And in the centre of the ring,
A budding voice will bring,
Renewed joy and enthusiasm,
Of a song of rhyme to sing.
And then, take note of beatings
Deep within the heart,
And give them strength of vigour,
To complete the timeless art
Of capturing, in essence pure,
The nature of life begun,
And be at peace, and laugh,
And be jolly, and have some fun.
