Humble as one treads the path,
And beats the drum of life,
And leaves all earthly lessons
To the others who, in strife,

Take to ruling so the nature
Of a people, and a race,
Who loured over all the simple
Folk who thus embrace,

A life of elegance and humour,
A time to be in peace,
Hardship is thus fraught with danger
When one forgets to cease

The inner rumblings of a mind
Confused and lost, despaired,
Remember you have hearts of gold,
And truths yet told, be aired.
