Sudan

A top hat worn with dignity
Signifies a post so grand,
It portrays success and pomp,
And reeks of wealth in hand.

But what of wealth within the form,
What of love to share,
Can this way of life persist
When Man knows not to care

For that from which he takes
His lot, and coverts it with pride,
How are we to live as One
When selfishness, inside,

Eats away at core, and leaves
A residue of filth to be?
Know that all we take for granted
Is naught to what is yet to see.
