Mauritius
Circling round about this isle
Are dolphins ready with a smile,
Of intelligence yet unbeknownst
To man who takes with sword the throne.
But whilst we stop and listen in,
None the wiser do we grin,
For in their silence is a truth,
We have yet to uncover. Youth
And vigour do we impart,
And liken to the Heavenly art,
A kinship with these friends who play
In notes of One ship day by day.
If we really sought to know,
We could search to hear, echo,
The sentiments of creatures dear,
And all would be so joyfully clear.
