Primitive, the rat that lives
On scraps, and bits of food,
Who takes of all he finds,
And beckons to be wooed.
And all the while he wonders
Just what to make of life,
How to raise above the filth,
How to end this strife?
Reach to where you do belong,
And play your role so grand,
Worry not of how to pay,
But be, and understand,
That as you thus define yourself,
And align within the core,
The fruits of life will thus present,
And open every door.
