A love of form so freely able
To have of all heart’s yearnings,
To live a life so rich and full,
And pay of so little earnings.
Blessed are the men who labour,
And fight for every cent,
Who give of all they have,
And observe the Holy Lent.
What will come of distribution,
How will our world invent,
A means to harbour love and will,
To share what we do rent?

And yours is a humble lot,
Be true to form and give,
So others can begot.
