Georgia
Hot, the days thus pass on by,
And in their wake a haze
Washes over as one tries
To break away from daze.
Perspiration is a means
Of purifying so within,
Deep the wellsprings thus upsurge
To cleanse us all of sin.
Be ever thankful for the Spirit
Which enlivens so the masses,
Crowds are gathered as it sings,
And performs such joyful dances.
Take to waters which are cool,
And dowse eternal fires,
See them rise above in steam,
And wash away all ties.
