Ethiopia

Fragile is the bite which grasps
A hold of all in sight,
Which shatters so the flesh at will,
And loses weak, the fight.

But within the frame a Spirit whole,
Undaunted by the light,
Stands true to form, and free at last,
To give so strong of might.

A lesson bold to all who listen
Of the times which are akin,
To changes of reform to be
As One at home with Him.

Proud, a nation of a people
Chosen for a time,
To be at once the ones to lead,
And bring us into rhyme.
