Distant as the lark does sing,
And monotonous as the tone,
The drum of life beats a rhythm
Which penetrates the bone.
But as it does it animates,
And brings to life in rhyme,
A song for all to share at last,
And echo in timeless time.
The tune is thus the very essence
Of our true landscape,
It vibrates to a tone unique,
And keeps us in good shape.
Share your dance with one and all,
And be not shy of truth,
The answer to our questions lies
In our ability to be couth.
