Canada
To walk atop a mountain high
Requires a will of iron steel,
To cope with elements so wild,
And yield to nature’s heal,
And then, to receive at once,
A boot of firm intention,
Is once again a challenge mighty,
To test the strength of intervention.
But all is not as though it seems,
For in the snow-covered valleys fair,
There is a trace, a clue to see
A footprint of a Soldier there.
Invisible to naked eye,
The Soldier soldiers on,
And quiet though His purpose,
His love and wisdom amply shone.
