Venezuela

A figure eight does signify,
A race track of life,
Where one turns, and bends at will,
To return to start, in strife.

But when one takes experience,
And enjoys the journey fair,
There is no need to race ahead,
For the end point is ever there.

And though one’s path is thus confined
To a track of simple plan,
Never is the vista dull,
When one can understand,

That the outer view is casual
To the inner lessons told,
The journey, which is truly held,
Is the one to God, enfold.
