Finery, and all things ample,
A life of Royal flair,
A city clean and glistening,
And a people of stature fair.
What does it take to shuffle,
And loosen in mind’s eye,
The system of a nation
Which, in turn, does pry,
And regiment the freedom
To that which is not free,
But disciplined manoeuvring
Of each other just to see,
That in a glance one’s essence
Has been compromised once more,
And naught has changed except
That one stands behind a door?
