Diligent as so one cleans,
The chimney sweeps are told,
The labour gives of such reward,
The likes of which are sold.
And written in the Book of Time
Of Ageless Wisdom to behold,
Dancing up from every page,
A timely lesson old.
But oftentimes one does forget
To listen to the tune,
One’s eyes are focussed on the Sun,
But the feet are planted by the Moon.
Time it is to listen well,
To act a part at noon,
When the Sun is highest held,
And brings our Lord so soon.
