What it is that intervenes
Between the light of day;
This measure of a life at One.
But darkness and dismay

Do oftentimes confront a Soul
Who seeks to be in time,
When all is measured of illusion,
And thus of earthly rhyme.

Take a glance upon a star
And see it sparkle true,
Make a wish as often dreamed,
And live life true to hue.

Leave the shadow lurking
Far behind you, to be free,
Take your role, and play your part,
And use your eyes to see.
