Cuba
A chimney rises out of dust
And stands for all to see,
It breathes a fiery notion,
And encourages us, so free,
To be upstanding in the midst
Of all that goes before,
It asks us to have patience,
And follow Universal Law.
And all the while, deep within,
It suffers on its own,
It leaves a trail of hope,
And delivers what is known,
And in the morn, when wide awake,
The air is warm and clear,
It asks us to take with brush
To cleaning for all to hear.
