Expressing one’s opinion is a birthright, and yet so very few of us do, or even know how to begin to convey our thoughts and emotions with a loving hue. Communication is paramount, and, in equal measure given, is the need to listen well and speak from within.

For, in order to enter into a two-way discourse one must develop the skill of balancing the needs of self and others fairly and unconditionally. Conversation is not about how loudly views are expressed, nor even how confident the address. Yes, it helps to have conviction and belief in self, but of far greater importance is the ability to speak, without fear, of the very essence of your core, and all that you hold dear. And, in so doing, all your other talents will be displayed, and people will not only listen, but will actually hear what you say.

Words are cheap when scattered without thought of where they’ll land and how they’ll travel through the air, and whether others will understand. Keep silent for as long as you doubt your truth, and then, just when you begin to know yourself again, take to the starry skies and, with a measured rhythm, spell your prose clearly, boldly and with deliberate intent, concisely speak, softly, firmly, pausing now and then. This is how you will continue until the end.

Rest now, and contemplate your senses five. Use them wisely as tools merely to express your love and light.
