When all one’s symptoms multiply and loneliness descends, time it is to take a new approach and look within. This fast-paced life is dangerous to long-term health, and getting off the treadmill is the hardest step to take. But one way or another this must, at last, be done, and unsettling as it may first appear, a new confidence will slowly dawn when one finds one’s inner ear.
Cling not quite so closely to all you’ve held so dear. Realise that what you give away in terms of inner fears will release you to a world at peace, and calm and joy will be your close companions, arm in arm.
For it is not until one has learned to thus enjoy one’s time in solitude that one can truly sing the praises of a healthy life, where pain is lost to gentle breezes, warm and floating free. Do not, therefore, deny yourself the destiny you crave. And never doubt, for a minute, that you cannot live to a wisened age upon these shores, for time is never measured in years in other realms.
If you can accomplish the small tasks you know you ought then you will be granted such monumental service rare, which you will amply perform with joyful air. And in the course of living out your remaining time in tune, you will accomplish greatness and be fully present in the now. And such will be your efforts that, without a single ploy, you will fulfil a lifetime’s dreams in a fraction of the time you would otherwise have spent alone of desperate need. Instead, know this, you will be freed.
