Filters act as masks for all that we won’t see, and reflect an image back, distorted from the truth. And whilst these images are often dazzling to the naked eye, they merely serve to thus distract us from our earnest search to find some form of clarity in this world in which we live.
Be wary then of feigned appearance, of altered reflections present. Do not let your own interpretation of the facts be clouded by a weak suggestion that another’s path be true.
And so, what do we mean by filters in the everyday? How can they be gauged and thus avoided in this way? In reality, they face us everywhere. A challenged sense of what is so, is questioned by the one who looks beyond the physical interpretation, to the central sun, where light is pure and brilliant and casts no shadows thus below.
In time all barriers to greater truths will be dissolved, and freedom from constraints of old will be known. And to encourage this transition one would do well to be ever vigilant to those things which would otherwise deceive.
So start as simply as you can, and dare to show yourself. Leave all masks of fear and pain to gather dust on yonder shelf. Feel the gentle breeze whisper across your face, as if for the first, and let it wash away all trace of past confusion, buried joy, and welcome so instead a graceful countenance, divine and everlasting, so you may begin to be a beacon for us all, and mirror perfectly that which another needs to heed, and by your very own display of self will all eventually be freed.
