There are no expectations
Of how you ought to be,
Responsibility is to self primarily
And, as such, you’re free.

When your cup is full
And you have more love to give,
Then nurturing of others
May help you live

A life of rich reward and meaning,
Of generous spirit true,
Not selfless, never losing self,
But in harmony of rainbow hue.

The key is balance, always,
To strive to walk the path
That intuition guides you gently
To take, to home and hearth.

Not to rush or blindly do
What others ask of you,
But to weigh up choices and make decisions
That are just and true.
