A Daily Message

28 November

What is passion? And how can it be defined? Long sought after answers to such questions are difficult to find. But what is at stake here is not the what or how, but rather what is back of such strong emotion, the driving force.

In the wrong hands an over zealous nature can be brutal, and in the hands of one who is misguided, delusional and clouded by ego, passion ignited can scold all and sundry in its path. True passion is unfeeling, of a higher notion, where the impetus to create is innately there; silently, and yet concertedly, effort is made with little emotion for good or ill.

Now this may seem quite bland and uninteresting. And one could rightly question its merit. But as one thus evolves and passes through initiations, there is a gradual lessening of the form nature in favour of that which cannot be sensed by mortal souls. And, as higher states are thus achieved, the work continues well, and tasks are given which require all one’s sense of will to bring to life the manifestation of the message with love and light.

So look not for that adrenalin rush of old. Thirst will never be quenched this way, there will only be greater costs involved and compromises made in order to chase that ever elusive high. Instead, look within and find peace. Remain still, and go about your business quietly. Detach yourself from ownership of reactions of an emotional nature, and free yourself to become a vessel of pure energy, so rare, such that a constant stream of impassioned creativity pours forth into this hungry world of men.
