Take a moment to reflect upon the day’s events. See them through the eyes of a stranger, detached, noncommittal, devoid of fear. Understand them for what they are, and accept those circumstances over which there is no control.

Viewed this way, all those little nagging problems pale into insignificance, and different opinions can be formed and more appropriately expressed. Life is much more simple, issues can be solved, true meaning can be found and time no longer binds.

This is the type of freedom of which one often dreams, but rarely experiences in truth. If we begin to let go of all attachment to outcomes which favour self, we can instead participate in a larger life which flows more freely and benefits a greater majority effortlessly.

In order to get to this stage in one’s own life one must understand this higher goal. And then, with courage and an iron will, one can begin to put into practice these principles with ease. But, as always, initially an effort is required, and we, as a people, have not been taught the true meaning of this notion. Effort is not an issue when one pursues a dream with an open heart and mind, out from which streams newfound enthusiasm, energy and flair, a vitality unbeknownst before. But it is a problem when one cannot see the vision of the dream, and how it impacts on others, sight unseen. So an element of intuitive response and creative imagination are required, and this brings us to that need for self expression.

Contribute something of yourself unconditionally. Give yourself away in mind. Express your own true unique talents and you will find that the vision will appear magically, just as the sun at dawn does rise, and effortlessly will you move throughout your life.
