Life is one long lead up to a grand finale of gigantic proportions. Death, rather than representing the endpoint of one’s life, is, of itself, freedom absolute. It marks the moment when one can leave this dense realm to inhabit a higher place in time and space.

But, whilst death is inevitable, the degree to which one experiences release is largely dependent upon one’s life, and how one has lived. Have all opportunities presented been embraced? Has one learned from past mistakes? Have there been major breakthroughs in one’s healing? And has one’s destiny on this earth been fulfilled? These are some of the many criteria which help determine the extent to which one may find that peace eternal, that bliss supreme beyond this world, that final release from earthly toil profound.

Living is not a meaningless endeavour, a meagre occupation to pass the time. It is not a sentence of monotonous repetition, nor is it an excuse to procrastinate or hide. Life is a testing ground from which one journeys forward to a greater understanding of oneself, within a world superficially created for the very purpose of providing tangible results that can be sensed with ease.

And whilst one cannot fail this test of life, one can choose, through free will, to prolong the agony of growth, or consciously face the trials with humility and grace, and fast track the process such that, in another time and place, one may progress to other realms and higher schools of thought, mounting ever higher to the source.

Live your life until you die. Be accountable for the time that passes by and you will face a future of blissful release.
