People often say that their health is most important, that without it there is a lessening of quality of life, but most of us are ignorant as to our state of health, especially when all we have are external checks and measures.

How do we look? How do we feel? Can we maintain our current lifestyle without cause for concern? These are the main questions we ask, and oftentimes our replies are glib, and made without much thought.

In truth, one’s health is paramount, and there is so much to understand that the subject itself deserves a doctorate of study. Every little aspect of one’s life can be affected for good or ill depending upon choices made. From the type of food we eat, and clothes we wear, to the use of heating and cooling in the home, from the air we breathe, to the jobs we do; all these facets of our existence require careful consideration as to their impact on our vehicles, and the peculiarities of each.

Now one may argue that this is too much bother, and one’s life may suffer, in terms of enjoyment and social interaction, if all these considerations were met. But we owe it to ourselves to live to our potential, and safeguarding health is vital to longevity and usefulness.

Start small. Obtain advice from those qualified to know. Give yourself a chance to reverse the ageing process, no matter how slow. Follow your intuition, and recognise, day by day, the benefits of living life this way.

Imagine, if you will, a long and joyful life where the average life expectancy is doubled without effort, and imagine all that you could experience and achieve. What a wonderful legacy you would leave behind, and the freedom from disease you would have found.
