A Daily Message

28 April

Perspiration performs a function vital to a healthy life, and gives the body an opportunity to heal, and maintain and regulate the temperature within. But when the outer senses fail to thus perform, or long intervals of icy conditions prevail, growth is stagnant and much lies dormant and troubled for a time.

To raise a sweat this life requires effort and application, and naught of great achievement is afforded without will, self-applied and conscious. And in the race to be the first to cross the finish line, and be so recognised for feats in kind, the efforts of another are hardly granted the time of day, and this is where we err in judgement and suffer alone, dismayed.

It all comes back again to balance, the weighing up of sides; the effort made in contrast with the humble patience of the onlooker whose interest in his friend and what is thus achieved by him, to his own end, is of paramount importance.

And if one rightly understood this lesson, word for word, a simple message would be clear and sharp in mind. To raise one’s temperature in active participation in life and all it has to offer is the objective of the man who has learned the art of sharing, of a wider span, the fruits of labour with others in the race.

And this gesture, earnestly displayed will invigorate and revitalise the body, mind and soul, and health will be restored of a lasting kind to thus enable one to enter a future race in time, a larger one along the road to destiny and joy, where a sense of peace and grace will take centre stage.
