The life of one who walks the path is lonely to the mass of men who know not what the journey means nor how to find the way. But little time is spent on enlightening others’ minds, for this is such a personal experience of which each traveller, himself, alone, can only know.

So how to aid another who has yet to find the path, who, perhaps, is close to finding his way out of the maze of obstacles in his life, but needs some guidance in direction and motivation to continue the road less travelled?

In essence, there is only time on our side, and in many respects this time is endless, and patience is our guide. Hasten slowly is the oft heard cry, and once again confusion reigns supreme, as answers to life’s puzzles are met with further questions.

No one can know the truth for another as each has his own clues from which to formulate a plan for future muse. There are, indeed, the universal truths for all to share, but these are few and simple, and non-specific in their learning. So, in order to find order from the chaos of our lives, we must be given confidence and courage to embark upon an unknown future, alone and in the dark.

Do not take to wandering of aimless direction then, but set a task, a goal, and see it to the very end. This will lead to greater wisdom and another goal to set, one which by its very nature will be a closer, surer bet, until, in time, one will see the path once trod, and admire the efforts made to place each footprint in the sand. And onward will be heard the cry, to ever greater lands; the accumulation of meandering with intent will be the day soon to come, when great the vista ahead, familiar as one’s home has been, is viewed sight unseen.
