What is friendship in this life so short and full to brim? What value does a person place on family and next of kin? Relationships are wondrous things and they allow an interplay of thoughts and emotions to be lived out and consequences to be relayed.
But are these people in one’s life so significant that they deserve a greater portion of one’s time than all of the other life upon this planet fair? This is a most perplexing problem if we confront an honesty rare, that each of us is special; the stranger in the street, he too has unique gifts to share and answers to questions we need to resolve.
So why spend the most part of one’s life attached at hip to only a select few without the freedom to really equip oneself with a wider span, and pure love untainted? Why limit encounters when so much more is there to thus explore?
The greatest friend one can ever meet has naught but love abound, given without condition that you ever meet again. And, in a brief moment, he shares an inner-most thought, at will, to help propel you onward so you can thus instill a moment’s blessing upon another, and so it continues on.
Time will only keep a short distance between meeting on the journey long all such souls who refuse to bind themselves to others so, and who instead give thoughtfully, and let go all attachment and selfish ill.
So think again of that which holds you to your past, and refuse to be so held. Come out from your masked reflection of who you were, and build a future based on being who you truly are, unafraid to cut the ties which no longer serve your growth, to stand up tall and befriend all.
