A Daily Message

25 January

When the rain clouds gather darkly and threaten to let go their load, clap your hands in joy and know that you have now a chance to grow. For water, in the purest sense, will touch your skin and glow, glistening in the moonlight hidden, but ever present for the show.

And cool the outer senses, free, will lift you to a better place where you can simply be a dew drop in a grander plan upon a petal, rose, and sparkle like a diamond with innocence and poise.

The air, as fresh as mountain valleys green with luscious growth, will greet you as you meander slowly taking in the things of youth. Whoever said that rain was gloomy was a thief, robbing each and everyone of that which runs so deep within our hearts and minds, a torrential river flow, cascading, tumbling, drenching the all we know.

Why such talk of weather, when each day is a first, a chance anew to thus encounter who you are with thirst unquenched by aeons passed, and time that stands so still; accept what is and truly use your senses high to glimpse the beauty of the moment, whether sun or pouring rain, and know that change is wonderful, and presents us with a game of chance to make the most of moments which do pass, never once again to grace this place, as so the last.

For each of us needs stimulation, but not for feeble talk, merely for the inspiration to take us to the place we would never reach alone had it not been for the drop of rain which changed our course for better, and rid us of our pain.
