And oftentimes allude us well,
They hide in plain sight, unnoticed,
And fail to cast their spell.

But the devil is in the detail
And we need to play the game,
Not just in part, but wholly;
All puzzle pieces weigh the same.

Life’s riches lie in waiting
For the fearless to venture forth,
Boldly facing all the obstacles
That present with such a force.

Not to pick and choose the part,
But accept whatever comes along,
To perform the smallest deed
With love and a heartfelt song.

Focus on the little things
And look not down the road,
Take each step with awareness
And humbly bear the load.
