A new year is upon us,
And the first full moon so near,
Significant in many ways
As we head into a year

That heralds so much change,
And beckons us to follow too;
To take the road less travelled
That leads entirely back to you.

There is a growing need
To live a life thus freed
From all the lesser values,
And ride tall upon the steed,

Strong and wild and free,
In the direction of your home;
Not of earthly guise,
But the higher path you own.

When presented with a problem
Ponder on it well,
Choose the higher goal;
Fear not, nor on it dwell.
