In times long past there were so many aspects of everyday life to master. The basic needs of food and shelter required inordinate amounts of time in preparation and maintenance. There was no automation, and very little time for leisure. Now many may think that the same is true today. But the emphasis now is more on what we can do by way of distraction from the mundane, an adrenalin rush or substance abuse to mask the pain.

And, as each new generation is born into this world, there is less on offer to meet with approval; a hungry youth yearn to hold onto something of meaning and relevance to their evolutionary place within the scheme of life and destined course.

Why, you ask, has this world seemingly stood still in terms of its growth and accommodation of the new? And why do so many folk lead dishevelled lives, confused, disenchanted, disillusioned, through and through?

We must, as a people, collectively move forward, embrace new ideas and strive to mould a future which is more appropriate for all, one which takes note of environmental factors tall.

There are so many easy lessons begging to be learned. Idle time could be spent discovering this world and what it truly means to play one’s part, and share one’s knowledge with others on the path.

Let not the ordinary so consume your day. Improve efficiencies and make use of recreation time to display your creative talents well. Time-saving devices were not invented so you could dwell on the past, or while away the time with thoughtless escapades into fantasy. Keep abreast of your contribution so we all attain liberty.
