To know oneself takes courage, and a conviction strong, to accept the truth presented and own it long. Answers to life’s questions are provided generously. And there are many clues available to help us see. But denial is ever present as we fail to understand that it is more than plausible that our place in this land is something special, that we have a role unique. And the energy expended in denouncing our own sweet song denies us the quality of life we thus deserve.
Of course, knowing what is so requires a degree of faith. And one cannot be forced into a position of unearned grace. But letting go and living peacefully gradually helps one to be free. And trust in the process gives impetus for change, and this, in turn, brings proof at every stage.
What a roller coaster ride we live throughout the growing years. What a mystery of grand proportions confronts us as we go about our life in joy and tears. And solving such a mystery is a lifelong quest, to find each piece of the puzzle and fit it to the rest.
But rest assured that it is better to place a piece in situ than leave it aside until one knows for sure. It is better to have a puzzle of fewer missing links, albeit oddly hued, than waste the clues provided. Otherwise additional help is not forthcoming. Further clues cannot be given if the former have not been used.
And this is where so many people fail, and stall in their attempt to know the truth about the self. Fit your life together as best you can today, and be prepared to improve upon your efforts as new insights come into play.
