Evidenced by those who have travelled the path before, the road is long, and arduous is the journey. But rewards are plentiful and everlasting, such that growth experienced more than compensates for the sacrifices made.

But you will have to take their word for this, and faith is not commonly viewed today with the same enthusiasm and zeal as it was when spiritual endeavour was at its infancy. And, to some degree, this is well and good; blind faith is to be discouraged, and mindless devotion to a cause unwise. But there is a need for a newer faith, one which calls for an independence freed from past notions of religious reverence to someone external to the self, of denial and blame and fear.

And this faith in self is central to one’s evolution, and requires self confidence, and a listening to one’s intuition to bring about the needed outcomes at every stage.

Gurus, saints and masters are no longer called for here. They were representative of an era past. Today we must individually aspire to greater heights without the physical guidance of another to which we may have otherwise formed an attachment disadvantageous to our own growth.

And this requires maturity and an effort of the will, to do what we know needs to be done. All the answers to our questions are available on call. All we need to do is ask the universe for assistance and signposts will be provided in the everyday occurrences to which we will become more consciously aware.

So take your leap of faith and back yourself. Make your decision to journey onward towards the light, and when you meet the crossroads of your life you will be ready to do what needs be done to arrive at the central sun.
