In order to break free from the mould of society and all the false expectations projected onto oneself, one needs to have a well formed vision of the next step on the path, and then the will and strong conviction to take that step in earnest.

It is time to loosen all the shackles of the past, to leave the nest which is well outgrown, and find one’s way alone. Celebrate this change for it is inevitable, and despite advancing years you will succeed. The fact that this step could have been made much earlier is of little importance if you now complete this task with speed.

People are apt to stay with what is known and comfortable. They call it security, and pay dearly for it as they go through life afraid. But, in truth, there is no certainty, nothing is guaranteed. Who knows what is around the corner waiting to meet us there? It is better, therefore, to take a chance, and dare to grow, than hold on to a memory of what was before.

Formulate your plan for today. Do your best to accomplish what you’ve set out to achieve. Pay no mind to your progress, for the road is long and winding, and you will lose sight of the past rapidly. But so long as you can see somewhat ahead, and keep that forward motion, then, when you reach a summit significant in your life, you will have the pleasure of glancing back in time to see how far you’ve come and, with fondness, remember well all you have learned throughout your travels varied.

Start anew today. Be conscious of your needs. Choose the path that is right and just for you. You are not alone in your search for your destiny.
