The energy you have within, and all that you consume, amounts to a vast expenditure over a lifetime, an investment of magnitude unequalled by any other thing you say or do or own, old or new. And if you had a crystal ball and could envision a time ahead when, upon reflection, you could weigh the significance of all your plans, and see, with pinpoint accuracy, just where this energy had gone, how it had been used, wasted, neglected, traded, outshone, then yours would be a telling story, the sum total of your life broken down into units of energy expended without a second thought, without a care.

We have just so many breaths to breathe, so many beats of a heart, and we may choose to labour hard to live our life, or encourage health and vitality so that all the energy we use is more easily directed to creative pursuits which bring us joy, and provide service to others at the same time.

Wisely use the energy you have been allotted. Waste no time in freeing yourself from ill health. Accept no niggling pain or symptom of disease; fight them all, and restore your vitality whilst you can. Do what you know you must. Listen to your intuition. Leave no stone unturned in your search for peace.

It is not a matter of energy conservation, but rather of listening to yourself, and wisely using energy for the highest need. Believe it, or not, there is ample fuel for everyone to function optimally in this small world, if only each and everyone of us would be accountable to self for what is used and how.

Nature has provided the basic needs of life. It is now up to us to make life count by achieving our collective destinies at will.
