In times to come reality and illusion will become merged in time and space, and whilst initially we will find it difficult to identify truth from false, ultimately we will be forced to abandon traditional methods in favour of a newer stream of science which embraces the unseen.
Technology has made leaps and bounds in recent years, and although not all of what it brings has enhanced our lives, the overall effect has been one of heightened intellect. Man’s thirst for knowledge is the driving force which helps the species to evolve. Without such enthusiasm for the unknown we would not be where we are today. We are closer to the truth of who we are than ever before.
And when two polar opposites begin to merge as one, then a newer, deeper understanding grows. Oftentimes it is not until we lose our sense of self that we can discover who we are in truth. And this is the case with reality and illusion. Is reality, as we know it, real? And as illusion becomes more life-like how will we ever know whether it is the reality of old or not?
In many respects it is just as well that evolution takes its time. Slow progress gives man time to adjust and assimilate the new. It should also provide opportunities to review direction and modify, where necessary, the course.
Do not be so quick to judge the future. Realise that throughout each and every age fear of the new is rampant until it becomes mainstream. So long as we maintain an open mind, and despite, and because of, all our efforts to search for the truth, we will ultimately discover the soul as fact, and this will open new frontiers for all.
