Take a risk and love your enemy, and see their compassionate side. Watch them as they interact with others, by and by. Most of us have someone, a lover or a friend, in whom we confide something of ourselves, and it is here that we will find the gentler nature eagerly sought.

There is not a single living soul whose nature lacks the most minute grain of love intact. And though it can be hard to find, on occasion scarce, the fact that one is breathing alone attests to faith in life from breath the breath.

And when you understand the other side of your foe you will have embraced a deeper love of self also, and peace will be instilled, a calm unlike before, without fear, uncertainty, you will be free to roam and be yourself at last.

And as you let go in this way you will have no need to thus attract another who would otherwise have been a mirror for your pain. Instead you will be clear to be as transparent as a pane of glass freshly made and held up to pure light, present but unaltered, unaffected by surrounds.

And you will have a vision, near and far, unclouded by the thoughts of yesterday. And you will become the path you walk, so gently stepping over rocks below, leaving not a trace as you go. So ask for the opportunity to see those you fear as friends. Watch, before you, the display of love unfold. Hold within your heart and mind the memory as it’s told, and take it with you deep into the night.

And as dawn arrives, take to the light, and witness your revival bold and bright. Life is short, but time is in plentiful supply; once you master yesterday you will have an eternity to fly.
