Have you spent time in reflection, viewing things differently? Have you stopped and looked down from above to really see the minuteness of your little world and all that confronts you there? Doesn’t it seem ridiculous how much time is spent thoughtlessly, wasted in thin air?

Take a vow to stop and smell the roses now and then. Better still, promise yourself that your next vacation will make way for the company of a stranger who is a long-time friend, but one you have neglected badly for so long. And end this rushing madly, achieving naught of internal gain; be determined to stand still and look across at a window framed with your reflection and polish the mirror well, cleanse the visage you have hidden from yourself, and dwell within your temple, bath in rays of hope, drink of all the goodness you have overflowing with endless love.

And in the moment be, and truly love yourself, admire all the attributes you have grown from seed. And in this meeting shake your hand and give yourself a hug, bless the wholeness of your being and be at peace at last.

And although you may be coy initially or even laugh out loud at the seeming stupidity, eventually you will become enthused with joy, and every waking moment spent with self will herald a time with all, when harmony can be restored and compassion truly shared.

And outward from the centre of your little life will emanate future currents of calm amidst a troubled world to soothe and so inspire the little wills of men to do likewise and go inward in the search for answers bold.

Reflect upon these sentiments and you will shine like gold the essence of your very being, eternally aflame.
