Perfection is a sign of excellence, of mastery of form. But it also represents a certain vulnerability to weather storm. For such high standards yield to naught, and are difficult to maintain, asking every fibre of one’s being to be devoted to this aim.

There are always flaws, imperfections unavoidable. And there is not one example in this realm of purity of this order. However there is merit in seeking perfection in oneself, of betterment and growth and learning, without a doubt. But overstraining, overzealous application to this end, signifies one’s desire for control over that which has no master.

Send a message to yourself that you are perfect as you are, the true self, often hidden from view, who shines as bright as the morning star. This inner self is sight unseen and yet resembles art personified and rare. Know you are that person and take to air in mind. Project this vision of yourself to others as you wind your way along life’s pathways and always look for clues as to your growing success in becoming this inner soul infused.

Be gentle with yourself and all the efforts you have made, and concern yourself not at all with the degree to which perfection is attained. Excel in being true to form, in expressing yourself with ease. Surprise yourself with sentiments of contentment and cease to take life quite so seriously as you go; there are many opportunities to enjoy each day and go with the flow.

Be present in the now, and accept yourself right now as representing the best you have ever been. Acknowledge the need to make adjustments and allow such change to come to thus permit your elevation naturally, to shine under the sun.
