At different stages throughout life opportunities do present themselves, to each in turn, by way of blessings earned. And it is then that one must rise to challenges anew in order to accept a change for better, planned.

Many times such change is offered and denied, refused. Inconceivable to some is the luck, which seems unreal. But this is just a smoke screen to a larger problem deep; the inherent nature of one who has accepted his lot in life, with a dim view ahead, and little hope in store. And these are sentiments which are encouraged all the more by well meaning friends who have, themselves, been tested and have tasted the bittersweet truths of procrastination.

Wake up to the fact that nothing of a future time is destined solely by your actions past, and that the unexpected can bring joy unknown; all the more so if one participates in asking for a helping hand.

Not one soul is at the mercy of another or a situation which cannot be changed for better, if only slightly, bit by bit. Keep positive and listen not to distant drums which keep the beat of history repeated. Plan, in mind’s eye, your future and live it in some small measure in the now. Inch along with determination, and a sweat-filled brow.

Conquer doubt of self, and listen only to the tune of hope and love and light and will to take you to your destined place. Stay awake, and keep a sprightly step, dance with joy, unknown, so you may someday know its song. Try, and keep on trying, to be the one you hear so deep within who sings a harmony profound.
