When a church bell rings one is often caught entranced by the beauty of its sound, as its tone and quality are enhanced. But oftentimes the message portrayed is confusing to the mass of people who must co-exist under the broad horizon depicted.
What does it mean to follow, to show allegiance to a cause? What does it mean when, at end of day, differences of opinion cause such anger and self sabotage? What can we make of this? Why are there such challenges within our midst?
Yes we are all different, and gratefully thus so. We are all moulded individually and live and breathe also under one roof, a blanket of stars so brilliant there, yet we cannot yet agree on fundamentals bare.
The truth is that we have much more in common than we’d like to admit, and born with egos necessary to help us win the fight and thus survive this earthly role, we look for differences to give an edge in all we do.
If we stopped for just a minute and considered where we’re at as a whole, united group, we would in fact react quite differently to each other, and find common truths beneath the outer masks conjured up to hide the weak. And then, in time, the bells would ring and our senses would, as one, be lifted higher still, to be at peace with what we’d find; one truth reflected for us all in time and space so free, a common thread, answers given in a simple message to be the cornerstone of future life and harmony.
