Time on earth is so short when measured in yesterdays, and all that one remembers are a few brief memories to replay. And with this limited time in the sun what do we hope to do? What will we be remembered for by others in the years that ensue?
You cannot count on any thoughts of what the future holds, especially if they are held to prevent your movement forward. All too often procrastination takes precedence in life, and one sits back in blind faith that ample opportunities await fulfillment of all the wonderful plans one has stored in mind, only to find that, in a flash, time is up, and sands have dried.
Today, and all you have achieved, is what gives you life. And no matter what you do, make it conscious, and you’ll find that whether, on any chosen day, you work from dawn to dusk, or rest to recuperate from a healing moment, such a conscious decision will bring you joy in time, and all your plans will be fruitful, without a doubt. And kind will be the latter years when you will live in peace eternal, welling up from the source within to indicate your time has been well and truly used in service to the greater plan.
And you will look back fondly, and have so much to view, memories aplenty from which to derive a satisfaction few would ever know. And your yesterdays will be a dream of great proportions, and complete your term with grace.
So make a conscious effort to create, in the now, the life you want to reflect upon at a later time. And know that all the sweat and tears will be rewarded in your heart and mind; a job well done, accomplished, and a future of blissful kind.
