Curiosity is youthfulness at its creative best, and when combined with innocence there is no harm invested in that which captures one’s attention, and all is free to be. Only when an arrogance and selfishness come to the fore are we, as a race, in trouble of opening wide the door to conditional interchange of expression between ourselves and others, and this results in less than optimum relations.

But what is meant by this expression, and how can one avoid that curiosity that stems from selfish interest? The truth is that we are at all times interacting with others in a specific environment, and each occasion will give rise to set responses which may not be the best choice for the moment, but which are triggered by a memory past which contains some element of the present circumstance.

And this is what makes such an interchange between two people dependent upon that which each believes will benefit himself uniquely well, and what is lost from that point on is the ability to blend the needs of self with others to produce a harmony of sorts which provides a balanced view for the highest good of all.

So be of gentle nature, and maintain that youthful spark of enthusiastic innocence in all that comes to you on your path. But always be so mindful of the need to stand back too, and guard against a curiosity which will only brew an inner battle with your spirit, and cause outer conflicts too.
