What of honour and tradition in this wide brown land, of history and all the past which helped to mould us as a clan into who we are today, and gives of mighty plans to forge forever solidly in stone, permanent, safe and known?

Reality of a higher nature gives of answers rare, and shows us just what it means to live of freedom fair. The truth is that we do not own our history, or a past which was right for then, and which in present day does not cast a single shadow over that which we now do. We are, in fact, in isolation from historical points of view. And just as we have no real say in what tomorrow brings, control of such unfathomable things is inconceivable at best, and serves no purpose here.

But all is not lost to sea, for lessons bold have shown that if we capture the essence of our forebears’ troubles sown, then we can begin to tread a safer path right now. But this involves an act of will to set oneself on track, and go forward without erring, with courage all the while. And tests and trials will be provided to keep one’s faith well.

It is safe, therefore, to assume that all is well if one takes the best of yesterday, and guards it close, whilst advancing strongly in directions bold, anew.

Respect is ever justified, but of greater import is love and wisdom amply measured out in equal spread. Do not dampen so a spirit with rules outdated now, but encourage one another to acknowledge growth, and thus bestow a pioneering spirit, where boundaries are so few, and all the best of every era will amply shine through.
