When, in times long past, we, as a people, stood united in confusion and blind to truths before, it seemed as though there was an order, and chaos had been lost to authority and responsibility at last. But, as is true in any setting, this was not the case. We had instead a sense of fear as broad and wide as the earth is round, and only out of fear of death did an individual echo the sound of conformity to rules dictated from on high.
Since these times we are a people far more individualised, and although an element of selfishness ensues, a lessening of the fear which pervaded every nerve has been superceded by a love profound.
And this is not surprising, as our major lesson here is that of love supreme and unconditional, without fear. We still have, undoubtedly, a long journey thus ahead, but victory is being hailed by those who have embraced an isolated unity where one can stand alone, but solid, in the knowing that we are one, embroiled in a lifelong mystery to unfold, where each must play one’s part, and success is measured in the lifting of all our hearts.
So, in an evolution of a people it is true that, for a while, it thus appears as though we travel backward to our goal. But, in fact, we realise that we have onward moved, and realisation dawns that consciousness renewed gives greater understanding of that which passed before, and to which we did not take a second glance to thus explore.
Conscious now of failings we are brought to our goals more surely than a blind conforming to that which may have suited an older law.
