A Daily Message

09 January

And now we come to matters of the heart, when beatings fierce within yield desires manifold, and echo of a greater need to be loved for who one is, unconditionally ’ere more.

This yearning is as natural as the changing of the tides ashore, and replicates a distant memory of the love we had before this life began, of universal tone, sufficient, more than ample to our needs. And in our search, most difficult, to find our answers true, we cling on to any small resemblance of a hue of that which gives us comfort, and stills an inner fear that we will never find the song we wish to hear.

But grasping on to one another gives little respite in this search, for in our longing for a partner oftentimes we reach for someone who is merely a reflection of our pain, and gives, therefore, little solace, naught to gain, except perhaps an understanding of our own sweet self, and knowledge of those things which are yet to be resolved. And once a morsel of new growth has sprouted tall and lean, a parting is at once destined, for all that is gleaned leaves the other lacking in our search for greater love, and onward does one travel to find, in peace, a dove.

In time, the wheels stop turning and we take to solitude, and then all lessons learned of old can safely be received, and in that lonely time thus spent on reflection, a revelation strong is given as to what love means.

And if one is so destined, and not too fixed in ways, one may perchance another soul who also thus conveys a truth not too dissimilar, that all the love one needs is found but deep within oneself waiting to be freed. Life can then continue boldly, and together, if in tow, will inspiration and a wisdom true be displayed to others who have yet to know.
