Mozambique

God, the pillar of a nation
Tall and proud within,
Withstanding all of every kind
Of threat, to break of sin,

And amble into the heat of day
To soak the sun of love,
To drench the last drop of dew,
To leave the earth to parch.

But in the storm which threatens,
There is a hint of cheer,
To drench the very essence
Of the blood of Christ so near,

And feed it to the lambs at play,
To give them life renewed,
And leave them be, eternally,
Of sacred act imbued.
